Workbench Journal
ABOUT THE JOURNAL

A place for small,
useful ideas.

Workbench Journal is a collection of approachable electronics projects and practical notes for the everyday desk.

What you’ll find here

Simple circuits, ways to organise components and cables, and habits that make experiments easier to follow. The focus is a manageable project with a clear goal.

A small-project approach

Start with a low-voltage circuit. Check the documentation for the actual parts on your bench. Keep notes, change one thing at a time and take a break when a result is confusing.

These pages are general learning material. They do not cover mains-powered repairs, damaged batteries or safety-critical equipment.

Quiet by design

This site has no accounts, comment system, advertising scripts or analytics code. Its pages, illustrations and styles are served directly by this website. The web server may keep standard request logs.
